Job role: Lead Ethernet Engineer
The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing Automotive Ethernet software for Linux/Android IVI platforms, leading networking architecture, feature development, and system integration.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Automotive Ethernet software for Linux/Android IVI platforms.
- Lead networking architecture, feature development, and system integration.
- Develop and optimize L2/L3 networking components and Ethernet switch configurations.
- Debug complex networking issues using Wireshark, tcpdump, and packet analysis tools.
- Collaborate with BSP, Hardware, Middleware, and Validation teams.
- Mentor engineers, perform code reviews, and drive technical decisions.
- Ensure compliance with Automotive Ethernet and TSN standards.
Qualifications
- 12–16 years of embedded networking or Automotive Ethernet experience.
Required Skills
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ (Java is a plus).
- Hands-on experience with Linux, Android AOSP, and IVI platforms.
- Expertise in TCP/IP, UDP, SOME/IP, VLAN, L2 Bridging, L3 Routing, IPv4/IPv6.
- Experience with 100/1000BASE-T1, RGMII, SGMII, PCIe, SERDES, and Ethernet switch development.
- Knowledge of AVB/TSN (IEEE 802.1AS, 1722, 802.1Qav, 802.1Qat), Open Alliance TC8, Open AVNU, and Media Clock Recovery.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Automotive IVI, Connected Vehicle, or Gateway ECU.
- Exposure to AAOS, AUTOSAR Ethernet, and Agile development.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
