Manage regional container inventory and asset performance, including balances, utilization, and dwell time to ensure optimal fleet efficiency
Plan and execute the optimal distribution of empty containers to meet forecasted demand in a cost‑efficient and timely manner
Coordinate with cross‑functional stakeholders (e.g. regional offices, operations, trade) to secure empty positioning space, volumes, and operational support
Monitor and challenge container demand forecasts, working with stakeholders to improve forecast accuracy and planning discipline
Develop contingency plans for equipment supply to mitigate risks arising from operational disruptions or demand‑supply imbalances
Drive analytics on container movement and operational performance to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvement actions
Manage and optimise container‑related costs, including empty repositioning, storage, and handling expenses
Support transversal global initiatives, including (a) Empty repositioning systems and tools (b) Global inventory tracking and reporting (c) Overdue / ageing empty management (d) Continuous improvement of equipment processes
Job Requirements
Education: Diploma/Degree Holder, University qualification in Management or equivalent preferred
Experiences: A minimum of 2 years’ experience in at least two of the following areas: equipment management, container newbuilding/leasing procurement, trade or operations management
