We are looking for a responsible
QA Inspector to provide Quality Control Inspection support for Honeywell at our Joon Koon site while partnering with manufacturing teams and leaders. You will ensure that quality in being maintained in all factors involved in production. You will be a firm advocate of quality in our business. The ideal candidate will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed. In depth knowledge and comprehension of quality standards is essential
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Incoming Quality / Cell Quality / Final Inspection
- Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) per AS9102 requirement.
- Proficient in CMM measurements
- Read and Interpret mechanical drawings/blueprint and specifications.
- Assist Quality Engineer in Rejects Containment, Rejection Analysis and Quality Improvement Plan.
- Raise non-conformance notifications (QN).
Responsibilities
Key Experience & Capabilities:
- Candidate must have a minimum of NITEC certificate or equivalent, with at least 1 year of relevant experience in machining industry.
- Familiarity in CMM use and its application will be an added advantage
- Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical blueprint and specifications
- Proficient in understanding Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Well-versed in using various measuring equipment such as air spindle, micrometer, height gauge.
- Preferably personnel with precision machining or aerospace background
- Preferably personnel with Net-Inspect and Discus ballooning software experience
- Self-driven with strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Team player with good interpersonal communication skills
