What The Role Is
You are responsible for managing and administering contracts supporting the Digital and Intelligence Service (DIS), ensuring effective execution, compliance, governance, and stakeholder coordination, while supporting the Section Head in compliance surveillance and resolution.
What You Will Be Working On
- Design contracts and develop scopes of work to align with outsourcing requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment with organisational objectives
- Develop and enforce processes to effectively manage the execution of contractual requirements, maintaining rigorous standards throughout the contract lifecycle
- Conduct periodic reviews of contract performance and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and make recommendations to drive continuous improvement
- Ensure contract governance and compliance, including the enforcement of contractual obligations
- Provide guidance and advice to stakeholders on efficient internal controls and best practices in contract management
Challenge(s) - Managing a diverse range of contracts, each with unique complexities and requirements
- Navigating potential conflicts of interest and ethical issues that may arise in the course of contract management
What We Are Looking For
- Education in any discipline
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in contract management related areas such as procurement, logistics, contract establishment, and contractor management
- Resourceful and independent
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and advise diverse stakeholders effectively
- Ability to prioritise and focus on key deliverables
- Ability to manage and automate large volumes of complex data
- Open-minded and objective in approach, with meticulous attention to detail
