about the job

  • Global Capability Building: Establish and standardize baseline sensory capabilities across global product portfolios, positioning sensory science as a strategic enabler of innovation.
  • Sensory Digitalization: Drive the future of R&D by developing sensory digitalization frameworks and establishing clear sensory-instrumental linkages.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with global Marketing, Consumer Insights, and R&D teams to define clear, customer-centric sensory targets.
  • End-to-End Project Guidance: Actively participate in global innovation project meetings, design comprehensive sensory plans, and interpret complex results to guide project success.
  • Flavor Science Focus: Deep-dive into technical flavor science research.
  • Panel & Vendor Leadership: Recruit, train, and calibrate high-performing internal sensory panels to ensure absolute data accuracy, while maintaining strong strategic relationships with external sensory vendors.


about the manager/team
You will step into a highly collaborative, cross-functional global network that thrives on open communication, transparency, and empathy.

skills and experience required

  • Master / PhD degree in a Science or Engineering discipline (Food Science & Technology is highly preferred), or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 8 years of robust experience in sensory and consumer research, ideally within food CPG, confectionery, beverage or flavor industry.
  • Strong expertise in sensory methodologies, statistical analysis, and consumer-centric product design.
  • Solid business acumen across global / regional markets. Experience in a B2B environment or FMCG product innovation is an added advantage.
