We’re looking for a detail-oriented Product Design Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in product research, design coordination, and development. You’ll work closely with our R&D team, exploring new trends and turning concepts into real, tangible products.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and develop creative furniture design concepts.
- Develop furniture designs from concept through prototyping to final production.
- Communicate research findings, design ideas, and design rationale clearly through visuals and presentations.
- Create design outputs including sketches, renderings, and 3D models.
- Support product development, prototyping, and testing activities.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure design specifications are accurately implemented.
- Assist in the selection of materials, finishes, and hardware.
- Conduct research on design trends, materials, and competitor products.
- Maintain organised design documentation, including drawings, layouts, and specifications.
- Assist with document management, including version control, updates, and organisation of project files in line with project milestones.
- Review design and project documents for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging design technologies.
- Carry out other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Fresh graduates or currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Strong passion for furniture design with a good eye for aesthetics and detail.
- Proficiency in relevant design software and/or strong sketching/drawing skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Detail-oriented and comfortable handling documentation and revisions.
- Open to feedback and able to apply it constructively.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles is a plus.
- No prior work experience required, but a strong portfolio is essential.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10am – 6pm
Salary: Up to SGD 1,000/month
