As part of our continued growth, we are seeking�a skilled Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on�facilitating�the evolution of our core applications. The ideal candidate will�possess�strong product management skills and experience in quality assurance testing, ensuring that the final product meets both business requirements and user expectations.�
Responsibilities�
Project Facilitation�
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the region, including developers, product�owners, vendors, and stakeholders, to define project scope,�requirements�and�objectives.�
- Conduct requirement-gathering sessions to elicit detailed business requirements and translate them into functional�user�specifications.�
- Develop and�maintain�project documentation, including�user requirements, specifications, user stories, process flows and use cases.�
Product�Development�and Management�
- Assist�and work with other Product Owners�in the creation of the�sprint planning and backlog�and prioritize features based on business value and�objectives.�
- Work closely with stakeholders to�identify�business and market needs and ensure alignment with organisational goals.�
- Monitor project progress and coordinate releases, ensuring timely delivery of sprint milestones and post go-live support.�
- Take part in Sprint reviews and retrospectives to improve development processes and system capabilities.�
- Support automation and digitalisation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Quality Assurance Testing
- Assist�in developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and functional specifications.�
- Conduct�and coordinate�functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure application�or sprint�quality.�
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure�timely�resolution of defects
User Support & Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with application support teams and vendors to provide timely support to users, addressing issues, queries, and enhancements.
- Ensure standardisation of processes and identify opportunities to enhance system functionalities.
- Prepare training documentation and conduct user training where required.
- Stay informed on system updates and advise stakeholders on relevant enhancements and features
Requirements
- Bachelor?s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field�
- Minimum of�1�year of experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects, preferably in the� finance�sector
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and business processes.�
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Familiarity with project management tools�(JIRA,�GitHub, or similar)��
- Familiarity with�QA testing tools�coupled�with�CI/CD processes
- Understands and has the ability to communicate on API workflows and connectivity
- Excellent practitioner of generative A.I. A.I. Agents, toolbelts, and MCP is a plus
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and laser-focused on�completing�objectives.�
- Excellent Team player with the ability to work independently when required
- Willing to commit to a 1-year contract role
