The Role
The Senior Technician / Technician plays a hands-on role in deploying, maintaining, and supporting mission‑critical systems in the field, ensuring they are fully operational, reliable, and ready for use. Working closely with engineers, the role supports system integration, fault diagnosis, and continuous improvement activities, contributing directly to safe, effective operations and high levels of customer confidence.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform maintenance according to maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and return systems to operational status.
- Support field operations, trials, and mission deployments.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
- Assist engineers in performing installation, commissioning, and acceptance of systems at customer sites.
- Assist engineers in monitoring system reliability, availability, and maintainability performance.
- Assist engineers in analysing failures and implement corrective actions. What we’re looking for:
- Advance Diploma / Diploma / Higher NITEC / NITEC in Engineering (Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, or equivalent).
- Hands-on troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Medically fit for offshore and shipboard operations.
- Strong customer engagement and communication.
- Adaptability in operational environments.
- Ability to operate effectively in cross-functional and multicultural environments.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
