WHAT YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

This role will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily production operations in the Singapore site.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Oversee and manage daily production operations to ensure adherence to production schedules and ATP (Available-to-Promise) commitments.
Utilize SAP (MRP) for production planning, material requirements, and inventory control.
Implement and monitor Managing Daily Instructions (MDI) processes to maintain operational discipline and performance tracking.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with SQCDP (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People) metrics.
Enforce 5S principles to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workplace.
Lead structured problem-solving activities to resolve production issues and prevent recurrence.
Manage manpower allocation effectively to optimize productivity and meet output targets.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) standards.
Promote and implement Lean and Mean Manufacturing practices to eliminate waste, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.

REQUIREMENTS:

At least a Degree in Chemical Engineering.
Minimum 10 years’ of relevant working experience in chemical batch manufacturing processes operations.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.

MANDATORY CERTIFICATIONS:

BizSAFE Level 2 certification.
Work-at-Height Supervisor level or above.
Confined Space Assessor certification.
Site Incident Controller qualification.

OTHER INFORMATION:

5-work days per week with high degree of flexibility and availability, often including on-call responsibilities for nights, weekends, and emergencies.
