About the Role
Tokka Labs is seeking a Senior Quant Trader to spearhead the research, development, and execution of sophisticated trading strategies within the digital asset ecosystem. As a key leader in our trading pit, you will bridge the gap between deep mathematical research and high-frequency execution.
You won't just be running models; you will be architecting the future of liquidity in the world’s most volatile and 24/7 markets.
What You’ll Do
- Strategy Alpha: Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of quantitative strategies, from initial alpha discovery and backtesting to live production and optimization.
- Market Making & Arbitrage: Design and manage automated liquidity provision and arbitrage systems across both centralized (CEX) and decentralized (DEX) venues.
- Risk Architecture: Develop and oversee rigorous risk management frameworks to ensure capital preservation in complex market conditions.
- Technical Collaboration: Partner closely with our Low-Latency Engineering team to minimize "tick-to-trade" latency and optimize execution quality.
- Market Insights: Conduct deep-dive research into market microstructure, order book dynamics, and on-chain flow to identify edge.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven Track Record: 5+ years of experience as a Quant Trader or Researcher in a proprietary trading firm, hedge fund, or high-frequency trading (HFT) environment.
- Quantitative Mastery: Strong academic background (Master’s or PhD preferred) in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python (for research/analysis) and familiarity with high-performance languages like Rust or C++ (for execution).
- Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of market microstructure, electronic execution, and the nuances of digital asset/crypto markets.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, "fail-fast" environment and is passionate about the DeFi/Blockchain space.
