Broad Function of Job Purpose
BMP supports management decision-making by providing insights based on the analysis of sales, customer, and market data, with the aim of driving business performance.It also takes a company-wide perspective to formulate business policies and initiatives.Furthermore, it ensures the effectiveness of these initiatives by driving cross-functional execution and monitoring progress.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Sales Planning & Performance Management
- Analyse store-wide and departmental sales performance, and identify key trends and issues.
- Lead the preparation and management of budgets and forecasts, including periodicreviews and rolling updates based on performance.
- Monitor performance against targets, and propose adjustments to plans to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Evaluate the effectiveness of promotions and business initiatives, and propose improvements to drive performance.
- Business Planning & Strategic Support
- Support the formulation of business plans and strategic initiatives in alignment with company objectives.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and risks impacting business performance.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to enhance sales and overall businesse ffectiveness.
- Project Planning & Cross-functional Coordination
- Plan and coordinate cross-functional projects (e.g. store renovations, system improvements, and business initiatives).
- Work closely with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth executionof projects.
- Monitor project progress, manage timelines, and proactively address issues to ensuresuccessful delivery.
- Management Reporting & Communication
- Prepare and disseminate reports and materials for management and internal stakeholders
- Support the communication and implementation of management directives acrossdepartments.
- Ensure alignment and effective information flow among relevant stakeholders.
- Any other job-related duties as and when assigned by the Company.
