Responsibilities and deliverables:
We are looking for a Backend Developer who takes pride in writing clean code and building systems that actually hold up under pressure. If you enjoy thinking through architecture, crafting thoughtful APIs, and making the backend invisible in the best possible way, you will fit right in.
Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining scalable backend services that are easy to work with long-term.
- Integrating databases, APIs, and third-party tools into cohesive systems.
- Working closely with frontend developers, designers, and product teams to ship great products.
- Writing well-documented code and contributing to code reviews.
- Debugging issues, improving performance, and keeping things running smoothly.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with at least one backend language such as Node.js, Python, Java, or Go.
- Strong grasp of RESTful API design and system architecture fundamentals.
- Comfortable working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiar with Git and modern development practices.
- A clear thinker who can communicate ideas and trade-offs effectively.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with Docker or container-based workflows.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
- Background working in a startup or high-growth environment.
