Provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment to support the rehabilitation of patients and residents
Maximise patients’ rehabilitation potential and improve quality of life through restoration of movement and functional ability
Work in a rotational role across Community Hospital, Chronic Sick Unit, Nursing Home, and Senior Care Centre settings
Conduct comprehensive assessments covering mobility, transfers, ambulation, and functional capacity
Develop, implement, review, and modify individualised treatment plans and rehabilitation goals
Deliver physiotherapy interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, functional training, gait and balance training, and use of assistive devices
Educate patients and caregivers, and communicate effectively with doctors and allied health professionals
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and patient records
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and discharge planning
Supervise and guide Therapy Aides and students on clinical placement, where applicable
Practise in accordance with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) Code of Professional Conduct
Uphold strict patient confidentiality and professional standards
Participate in departmental meetings, training, quality improvement, and hospital initiatives
Comply with health and safety requirements and mandatory training
Be responsible for recognising potential risks related to the role and actively support Ren Ci Hospital’s efforts to manage risks effectively
Job Requirements
Degree in Physiotherapy recognised by the Ministry of Health (MOH) / Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
Registered with the Singapore Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) with a valid practising certificate
Post‑graduate qualification or relevant certification is an advantage but not essential
Membership with the Singapore Physiotherapy Association is highly encouraged
Experience in a geriatric community hospital, long‑term care, or nursing home setting is an advantage
