About the Programme
As the automotive industry accelerates towards electrification, Cycle & Carriage Singapore is launching the
KIA EV Bootcamp. This is a structured early-career programme designed to develop future-ready EV specialists in Singapore.
This programme combines professional training, hands-on experience and a clear career pathway, offering you the opportunity to build specialised EV skills and grow with a trusted automotive powerhouse.
Programme Commencement: March 2026
Programme Type: Paid EV Bootcamp → Paid Internship → Full-Time Career Opportunity
Programme Structure & Career Pathway
Phase 1: KIA EV Bootcamp (2 months)
- Structured classroom learning and hands-on practical training
- Exposure to KIA EV systems
- EV Level 1 Certification upon successful completion of assessment
Phase 2: Full-Time Internship (10 Months) **
- On-the-job training under experienced EV specialists
- Real-world exposure to KIA EV servicing and diagnostics
- Opportunity for conversion to permanent employment, subject to performance

If you're at the start of your career and excited about technology, hands-on learning and the future of electric vehicles, we'd love to hear from you. No prior EV experience is required - training will be provided. All we ask is the right attitude and willingness to learn.
If you are an individual who is:
- A Singaporean / SPR
- A current ITE / Polytechnic Engineering student open to internship opportunities (Mar-Apr intake) OR
- An ITE, Polytechnic or TED graduate (Engineering-related disciplines), with up to 1 year of working experience
- Motivated to pursue a long-term technical career in the automotive / EV industry
- Like figuring out what's wrong and fixing it
- Enjoy hands-on work with tools, machines and real equipment
- Care about doing things properly, safely and accurately
- Work well with others and learn better as a team
- Don't give up easily and are willing to learn through challenges
