We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with Java skills and real experience building observability and telemetry infrastructure. You’ve worked on metrics pipelines, instrumentation frameworks, or monitoring systems for large-scale distributed environments — and you understand the difference between using these tools and actually building them. This is a platform engineering role: you’ll be creating the tooling that makes complex distributed systems observable for engineering teams, not just operating t
hem.
What You’l
l Do:
- Design and develop Java-based observability and telemetry platform components for distributed sy
stems.- Build and maintain metrics pipelines, tracing frameworks, and instrumentation to
oling.- Integrate observability standards such as OpenTelemetry into platform infrastru
cture.- Work with engineering teams to understand observability requirements and deliver effective to
oling.- Deploy and maintain observability platform services in Kubernetes environ
ments.- Contribute to code reviews and engineering standards across the platform
team.
What We Are Looki

- 5+ years of experience in I
T roles.- 3+ years of experience with Java as a primary programming l
anguage.- Hands-on experience building or working with observability tooling including OpenTelemetry, metrics systems, or
tracing.- Solid understanding of distributed systems and the challenges of making them observable a
t scale.- Experience working in Kubernetes envir
onments.- Advanced proficiency in
English.
