THE POSITION
- Driving Performance: Responsible for meeting or exceeding sales targets for assigned product(s) within the allocated territory by achieving related Sales Excellence KPIs
- Executing Customer Engagement Excellence: Focuses on executing in-clinic Sales Action Plans through the Customer Engagement Model and implementing off-clinic promotional activities targeted at key customers to strengthen relationships
- Adhering to Compliance, Code of Conducts and Policies: Ensures full understanding and adherence to all company and industry compliance requirements, including following established local processes.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Sales Achievement in the assigned territory
- Ensure listing and availability of BI products as required.
- Generate prescriptions and create demand using available resources, tools and training.
- Ensure prescriptions are fulfilled and demand is converted into sales.
- Continuously identify new growth opportunities
- Execute Sales Action Plans with excellence
- Fully understand and validate Sales Action Plans.
- Plan logistics to support execution.
- Take proactive steps to ensure high-value customers (Gain, Build, Defend) are prioritized
- Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain correct and complete customer data base.
- Develop and validate effective Sales Action Plans.
- Track progress and take corrective actions to ensure priority customers are engaged.
- Utilize Veeva functions such as Event Management, Surveys, and Coaching for Effectiveness (CfE)
- Superior Selling Capability
- Demonstrate strong knowledge in disease areas, clinical trials, products, marketing strategies, and
competition.
- Apply advanced selling skills aligned with marketing strategies using the Customer Engagement Model
(CEM)
- Comply with local regulations, industry and company Code of Conduct
- Adhere to all regulations regarding interactions with healthcare professionals.
- Follow the company’s Code of Conduct and take necessary actions on compliance issues.
- Serve as a role model in upholding compliance standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong knowledge in industry/product, selling skills, sales action planning, customer relationship management, self-development, communication, planning and organizing and IT literacy
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Possess a valid driving license and have access to a car to support field-based customer engagement and territory coverage
