Job Description & Requirements
This role is responsible for testing, configuring, and commissioning security systems such as CCTV and card assess to ensure full compliance with project specifications and operational requirements. The role involves system validation, troubleshooting, documentation, coordination with project teams, and supporting client acceptance and handover while ensuring safety, quality, and performance standards are met.
- Perform testing, commissioning, and validation of security, including CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Public Address, and Video Management Systems
- Configure system parameters, controllers, cameras, servers, and network devices to meet operational and client requirements.
- Execute site acceptance tests (SAT), factory acceptance tests (FAT) and support user acceptance testing (UAT) with clients
- Coordinate closely with project engineers, site supervisors, installers, and subcontractors to ensure readiness for T&C activities
- Verify installation quality, cabling, terminations, labeling, and system compliance with the company's standard
- Prepare and submit T&C reports, test records, as-built documentation, and commissioning checklists
- Conduct functional, integration, and performance testing in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and approved method statements.
Requirements & Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma or Nitec/Higher Nitec in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, IT, Construction/M&E industry qualification or related discipline
- Fresh graduates are welcome
