Responsibilities
Manage engineering, maintenance, and facilities operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant building performance.
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for M&E systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, lifts & escalators).
Manage vendors, term contracts, and contractors, ensuring service quality and cost effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Support budgeting, cost control, and operational planning.
Lead facilities-related projects, upgrades, and improvement works.
Utilize data analytics to monitor asset performance, energy consumption, and maintenance trends to drive informed decision-making.
Support sustainability initiatives, including energy efficiency, water conservation, and ESG-related improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Building Services, or related field.
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience as an Assistant Manager and/or 8-12 years of relevant experience as a Manager.
Strong technical knowledge of building services and facilities management.
Strong in procurement policies and processes.
Experience in vendor management, budgeting, and project coordination.
Exposure to data analytics tools and sustainability practices is an advantage.
Green Mark Professional, Fire Safety Manager, Water Efficiency Manager, and WSH certifications will be an advantage.
Good command of spoken and written English.
Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Strong technical knowledge of building services and facilities operations.
Proven leadership and people management skills.
Good project management and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Budgeting, cost control, and vendor management experience.
Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, Tableau, Power BI and facilities management systems.
Hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented.
Able to work independently and under pressure.
Willing to respond to emergencies or after-hours issues when required.
