We are looking for an IT Business Analyst to support delivery of technology solutions within a banking environment. This role involves working with business and technical teams to define system requirements, support implementation, and ensure alignment across the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document functional and technical requirements for systems and applications
- Translate business needs into detailed specifications, user stories, process flows, and data mappings
- Work with developers and architects on system design, integrations, and interfaces
- Support delivery across SDLC phases including testing (SIT/UAT), defect tracking, and deployment
- Analyse business processes and map them to system capabilities
- Track changes and ensure requirements are aligned with delivered solutions
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
- Experience as an IT Business Analyst supporting system implementation or software development projects within a banking or financial services environment
- Understanding of banking systems, applications, and technology platforms
- Ability to produce technical documentation (functional specifications, workflows, data flows, interface mappings)
- Familiar with SDLC methodologies and Agile/Scrum practices, using tools such as Jira or Confluence
- Ability to work with both business stakeholders and technical teams (developers, QA, architects)
