Senior .NET Developer

Locations:

Warsaw, Poland (B2B contract directly with Softeq, 100% remote work)

OR

Vilnius, Lithuania (employment contract, hybrid work)

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex .NET applications using best practices and modern architecture patterns (e.g., microservices, clean architecture).
• Write clean, efficient, and testable C# code, and perform code reviews to ensure high standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code).
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose their adoption when relevant to the business.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience with .NET and C# in backend development roles.
• Proven experience with ASP.NET Core, RESTful API development, and asynchronous programming.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Hands-on experience with version control (Git) and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Good communication skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., Angular, React, or Blazor).
• Relevant certifications in .NET, Azure, AWS or solution architecture.
