Solid Pay, Basic Benefits at WF Design
Pros: Pay here is actually pretty decent for a mid-sized firm in the interior design industry, especially for entry-level roles. As a Junior Interior Designer, I felt the base salary was competitive for the Kuala Lumpur office. We also get standard medical coverage, which is a plus.
Cons: The benefits package could really use an upgrade though. There's not much beyond the basics, like no dental or vision, which lots of other companies offer now. Annual leave is standard, but sick leave feels a bit restrictive compared to other places I've looked at.
Advice to Management: Consider expanding the benefits package beyond just basic medical. Adding dental, vision, or more flexible leave options would really boost employee satisfaction and make WF Design Sdn Bhd more competitive.

Hybrid Model is Fine, Some Room for Improvement
Pros: As a graphic designer, the hybrid setup is pretty decent. We get two work-from-home days a week in the Kuala Lumpur office, which helps with commuting. It's a nice perk for the creative industry.
Cons: The flexibility doesn't really extend beyond WFH days though. There's not much room to shift hours, so you're still locked into core hours even for project-based work. This can be tough when you need to focus on complex architectural rendering tasks.
Advice to Management: Consider allowing more flexible start and end times, especially for design roles where project demands vary. Empower teams to manage their own schedules better.

Decent spot for new graphic designers
Pros: As a Junior Graphic Designer, I got to work on stable client projects which was good for my portfolio. This design agency in Kuala Lumpur usually has a consistent project flow, so you don't really worry about immediate layoffs.
Cons: For senior design roles, career growth can feel pretty limited here. It's a smaller design firm, so long-term job security might not be as high as larger corporate places.
Advice to Management: Management should really think about clearer career progression for experienced staff. It'd help keep good people around longer.
