Okay balance for onsite electronics manufacturing
Pros: Standard 5-day work week, which is good. As a Production Supervisor, I usually clock out on time if there aren't any major issues on the assembly line. They don't push for crazy overtime too often, especially if you manage your tasks well. It's an onsite role in Kuala Lumpur, but the commute isn't too bad for me.
Cons: During tight deadlines or big orders, work-life balance can go out the window for a bit. It's a corporate setup, so you're expected to step up. Flexibility is pretty low since it's an assembly line environment. You're physically needed there, so remote work isn't an option.
Advice to Management: Try to staff up more effectively during peak production times to ease the burden on current staff. It would greatly help with employee morale and reduce burnout in electronics manufacturing.
