Good Flexibility for Remote IT Roles
Pros: I really liked the remote work setup they offer. As a Cloud Solution Architect, I had great autonomy over my daily schedule, which is super important. The flexibility really helps balance personal life and project deadlines.
Cons: Sometimes the lack of a consistent hybrid work policy for my specific team felt a bit disjointed. It's hard to build strong team bonds when everyone is so spread out. More structured team gatherings, even virtually, would be a big plus.
Advice to Management: Try to implement more optional in-person events for remote teams to foster connection. Even virtual team-building could help.

Decent enough work-life balance, but it varies
Pros: Being a Cloud Solution Architect here, I definitely appreciated the hybrid work model. It was good to have that flexibility, especially with some team members working remote from home. The base salary and benefits were also quite solid for the IT consulting industry in New York.
Cons: The main issue for work-life balance is when client projects ramp up. You can easily find yourself working 50+ hours. It's not consistent, but those periods can be pretty intense, which isn't great for personal time. Sometimes the global corporate structure feels a bit rigid with processes.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage project loads for Cloud Solution Architects. It's tough when some weeks are chill and others are totally overwhelming. Consistent expectations would help a lot.

Remote Work is Good, but Hours Can Be Rough
Pros: I really appreciate the remote work flexibility. Being able to WFH consistently makes a huge difference for my personal life. The team is pretty supportive, which helps when things get hectic with client cloud solutions.
Cons: Work-life balance can get tough. We often have to put in extra hours, especially close to deadlines or big software licensing deals. It feels like an always-on culture, and disconnecting isn't always easy.
Advice to Management: Try to enforce better boundaries around work hours, especially for remote teams. More focus on employee well-being beyond just offering WFH options would be great for us Cloud Solutions Architects.
