Okay pay for retail, good discount.
Pros: As a Sales Associate, the employee discount on Coach products is pretty solid. It's a nice perk in the luxury retail space. We get basic health benefits, which is decent for part-time.
Cons: The hourly wage for most retail positions isn't super competitive, especially in New York City. There isn't much opportunity for performance bonuses or significant raises, even with good sales numbers. It's tough to really move up in pay.
Advice to Management: Consider increasing hourly rates or introducing performance-based incentives for frontline staff. It would help retain talent in corporate retail.

Solid stability, but slow growth here
Pros: Job security is actually decent for a retail role. As a Sales Associate, I felt pretty secure in my position. They don't do crazy layoffs, especially in a big brand like Coach in the fashion industry.
Cons: Career advancement isn't fast, though. Getting promoted for retail management roles takes a long time. Pay isn't the best for the amount of work you put in.
Advice to Management: Invest more in employee development and faster paths for promotion, especially for dedicated retail staff. Show them there's a real future here.
