Decent Flexibility for Biomedical Roles
Pros: As a Biomedical Engineer, I liked the hybrid work option a lot. It's nice to split time between home and the Cambridge, MA office. The team for medical device development is pretty understanding about personal appointments.
Cons: True remote work isn't really a thing for most lab-based roles at Advanced Biomedical Instrumentation Centre. You're expected onsite for crucial testing. Also, sometimes projects have tight deadlines, so work flexibility can dip during those times.
Advice to Management: Consider offering more flexible core hours for non-lab-dependent roles. It would help a lot with overall employee satisfaction.
