Our company was founded on 9 Dec 1996 with the name “Jumbo Orient Limited", in March 2000, we changed our name into "Jumbo Orient Contracting Limited". We have been focusing on the sustainable development of constructions of structural steelwork, steel & metal work, aluminium work, soil extraction, shoring and strutting, concreting work and contracting related constructions. Also, through the constant effort of our staff and the integration of company structure, we now offer design, supply and installation services as well.
As a responsible contractor, we dedicate all our efforts in each and every project. Using our professional knowledge and attitude and paying close attention to details, we build our reputation from scratches. At the same time, we would stay humble and practical. Externally, we would do our best as a subcontractor and fulfill all requests of clients. Internally, we would improve to be a better self, so that our company can progress stably in the industry.

Pros: I've learned a lot about large-scale civil engineering projects here. The job security is pretty solid in the construction industry, which is a big plus for stable employment. You always know what to expect day-to-day, no surprises.
Cons: Work flexibility is almost non-existent for onsite roles. As a Construction Foreman, you're expected to be there long hours, usually 6 days a week. There's really no option for hybrid or remote work, which is common in the construction industry.
Advice to Management: Consider ways to offer even small amounts of flexibility, perhaps by rotating shifts or offering compressed workweeks for long-term employees. It would really help with morale for onsite staff.
