Pros: I liked the projects we worked on in SaaS product development; it's genuinely interesting. As a Software Engineer, you get to touch a lot of different parts of the system, which is good for learning. The Austin office itself is pretty nice, too, with some decent WFH options under their hybrid model.
Cons: The company culture feels a bit cliquey and not very inclusive. It's tough to get clear communication from senior leadership, especially during big changes. There's also some weird pressure to always be 'on', even with the hybrid model, which makes work-life balance a challenge.
Advice to Management: Work on fostering a more open and inclusive company culture. Improve communication from leadership and be clearer about expectations regarding work hours, especially with the hybrid model. Address the cliquey atmosphere.
