Career Path for Financial Consultants is Self-Driven
Pros: They've got solid training resources for anyone starting in the insurance industry. You can build a good client base and grow your network, especially working in Hong Kong. There's potential to really develop your financial services skills.
Cons: Formal career growth into management feels pretty slow unless you're a top performer. It's a large corporate, but promotion paths beyond hitting sales targets aren't always clear. Sometimes, it feels like you're stuck in a flat structure for a Financial Consultant.
Advice to Management: Consider clearer non-sales career paths. Not everyone wants to stay in direct sales forever, even if they're good at it. Provide more formal leadership development for high performers.
