Pros: The compensation is really good if you perform well. You learn a ton about **market making** and financial markets super fast. **As a Junior Quant Trader**, you get to work with smart people and cutting-edge tech. It's a great place to accelerate your career if you can handle the intensity.
Cons: Job security is very much tied to your PnL. There's constant pressure to perform. It's not the most flexible place; most work is **onsite** in the **Amsterdam office**. If you don't meet targets, people do get let go, which can be tough.
Advice to Management: Try to provide more transparent pathways for improvement and feedback, not just PnL numbers. It would help reduce some of the constant job security anxiety for junior traders. A little more support could go a long way in retaining talent.

Pros: Pay here is really good for a junior trader, especially in the Amsterdam office. The base salary is competitive, and the potential for a solid bonus in a proprietary trading firm is definitely there when markets are good.
Cons: The actual benefits package isn't super extensive, which is a bit of a bummer. Sometimes, understanding the bonus calculation process feels a bit opaque for quantitative finance roles, making it tough to know what to expect exactly.
Advice to Management: Make the bonus structure clearer for junior roles. Invest more in general employee benefits beyond just salary to attract and retain top talent in this competitive industry.
