Pros: As an E-commerce Specialist in the New York City office, I've had a decent hybrid work model. We typically did 3 days in office, which isn't bad for the fashion industry. It helps for team syncs without being totally stuck in the office daily.
Cons: Full remote options aren't really a thing here, even for corporate roles. It feels like they could offer more flexibility to office staff. Store associates, as expected in retail operations, don't have much WFH opportunity at all.
Advice to Management: Consider expanding flexible hours or more robust remote options for corporate staff. Also, look into how to give more flexibility to retail operations staff where possible to improve overall work-life balance.

Pros: I do appreciate the hybrid model; it's usually 3 days in the New York City office, 2 WFH. This flexibility is good for planning personal appointments. For creative roles, having some quiet days remote really helps focus on brand strategy.
Cons: The in-office days feel pretty strict though, with limited wiggle room if you need to adjust. There's not much remote flexibility for special circumstances beyond the standard two days, which can be tough in a fast-paced retail environment. I wish we had more autonomy.
Advice to Management: Consider more flexible options for in-office days, especially for employees in marketing or other creative roles. Giving teams more control over their schedules would boost morale and productivity.

Pros: I really liked my team. People are generally supportive and the work itself for a global apparel brand is interesting. You learn a lot about retail operations if you're proactive.
Cons: Career advancement is slow, especially for corporate roles. There isn't a clear growth path from Junior Merchandiser to Merchandiser. You can feel stuck without new challenges.
Advice to Management: Create clearer development plans and mentorship programs for employees, especially for junior roles in the corporate environment. Show people how they can move up.
