Pros: There's a good team culture among peers in the Pawtucket, RI office, which helps when things get busy. We do get some hybrid work flexibility, which is nice for personal appointments. It's a big corporate company, so there are established processes for the toy industry.
Cons: Work-life balance can be really tough, especially as a Product Development Engineer during peak seasons. Expect long hours, sometimes 50-60 hour weeks, leading up to big product releases. It's often expected to be 'always on' if you want to advance here.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage workloads, especially for engineering and product teams during critical phases. More realistic timelines would greatly improve employee well-being and reduce burnout.

Pros: The company has some really strong brands in the toy industry, which means there's usually consistent demand. As a Marketing Specialist, I liked working the hybrid model from the Pawtucket, RI office.
Cons: There have been recent layoffs, which definitely makes you nervous about your future. It feels like even with a solid position at a big corporate company, long-term job security isn't guaranteed.
