Senior Manager (Banking Supervision) (Supervisory Technology)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage responsible innovation platforms and formulate supervisory guidance on technology-related issues affecting the banking sector, especially in relation to fintech and emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Distributed Ledger Technology
- Keep abreast of industry developments and overseas regulatory practices in relation to the development of fintech and emerging technologies
- Collaborate with relevant departments within the HKMA as well as external stakeholders, and lead the development and implementation of the next-generation supervisory systems
- Host or participate in meetings with the senior management of Authorized Institutions and other relevant parties on related technology matters
- Provide support for the HKMA’s participation in international collaborative efforts on technology-related initiatives
Requirements
- University degree in banking, finance, technology or related fields
- At least five years’ relevant experience. Knowledge of banking operations a definite advantage
- Good analytical, communication and presentation skills
- Good command of English and Chinese
Conditions of service
- Depending on the openings available, successful candidates may be appointed on fixed contract terms
