Job Responsibilities


  • Lead, manage and develop the Business Development team, providing strategic direction, driving team performance, and ensuring effective execution of business development initiatives and account management activities
  • Establish and maintain strong, strategic and long-term relationships with key stakeholders across strategic accounts including insurers, corporate clients and medical networks
  • Identify and originate new business opportunities, partnerships and referral channels to expand market reach
  • Develop and execute key account strategies and business plans to drive partnership expansion, new account development and business growth
  • Present and negotiate commercial proposals and partnership arrangements with prospective clients
  • Monitor market trends, competitor landscape and industry developments to identify potential opportunities
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts and partners to optimize performance and strengthen partnerships
  • Proactively assesses and understand customer needs and align business solutions accordingly
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery and effective follow-through of business initiatives
  • Track and analyse business performance, including revenue contribution and key trends
  • Achieve assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives Align and mobilise internal resources to support business priorities and achieve account performance objectives


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales and Marketing, Economics or related discipline
  • With 8 years of relevant experience, prior experience in business development within the healthcare industry, or provider / agency management experience in the insurance sector is essential
  • Proven track record in leading business development, key account management and partnership growth
  • Strong and established network within the medical insurance and healthcare ecosystem
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and business performance
  • Strong stakeholder awareness with the ability to work effectively across functions and build alignment
  • Strong proficiency in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin is essential
