Post 1 - Summer Intern - Corporate Communications
Responsibilities:
- Assist in brainstorming, conceptualizing, and designing engaging online/offline promotional materials
- Collaborate with the team members to execute various tasks, including content creation, design illustration, animation, video editing, and translation of marketing materials, etc.
- Support social media management, content production, and event coordination to enhance brand visibility
- Handle ad-hoc marketing and communications tasks as assigned, ensuring timely and quality delivery
Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in Communications / Marketing / Multimedia Design or related disciplines
- Proficiency in Photoshop and other relevant design applications
- Solid graphic skills in layout development and artwork production for online/offline production materials is an advantage
- Self-motivated, creative and digital savvy, attentive to details and well-organized skills
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Contract period: July to August
Post 2 - Summer Intern - Facilities Management
Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring and co-ordinating with consultants, contractors, property management companies and end user for repair and maintenance services at BGCA centres / units
- Support to handle the routine maintenance works and/or renovation works of BGCA headquarter building
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to facility assets, maintenance activities and service contracts
- Handle enquiries on all related fitting-out works issues and prepare technical reports
- Site visit for inspection works is required
- Respond to facilities-related emergencies / ad hoc duties and take appropriate action
Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, Building Services, Facilities Management or related disciplines
- Knowledge and experience in interior design / Minor Works / bill of quantities is advantage
- Self-motivated with positive work attitude and have good team spirit
- Good command of both written and spoken in English and Chinese
- Good computer skills in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and AutoCAD
- Contract period: July to August
Post 3 - Summer Intern - Data Visualization and Analytics
Responsibilities:
- This internship offers hands-on experience in turning complex data into clear, interactive, and actionable visualizations and insights
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and data visualizations using tools such as SQL, Power BI, Python
- Build and improve Business Intelligence solutions, including automated reports and data pipelines
- Analyze and visualize key data across multiple areas, e.g. Finance: Budget tracking, expense analysis, financial KPIs, and forecasting dashboards
- Create weekly and monthly management reports and executive-level summary dashboards
- Explore new visualization techniques and recommend improvements to current BI practices
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related disciplines
- Strong interest in data visualization, Business Intelligence, and storytelling with data
- Proficiency or willingness to learn quickly in: Visualization tools: Power BI, Programming: Python, SQL for querying databases
- Good understanding of dashboard design principles and best practices
- Contract period: July to August
