Responsibilities
As a Banking & Finance Executive, you will work closely with our lawyers with extensive industry experience in banking and finance work. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Preparation of Documents: Assisting lawyers in the drafting and formatting of legal documents, including loan agreements, contracts, and execution versions.
- Legal Review: Assisting in the initial review and analysis of contracts and agreements.
- Executive & Admin Support: Providing standby ad hoc secretarial and administrative support to lawyers, including calendar and task deadline management and meeting coordination.
- File & Practice Management: Maintaining and organising physical and electronic case files; managing billing and time-entry records.
- Research & Ad Hoc: Conducting simple legal research and assisting with other ad hoc tasks as required.
Requirements
- Hong Kong, mainland China or overseas business/law degree holder with 1-2 years of working experience. Fresh graduate will also be considered.
- Prior experience in an administrative or secretarial role (preferably within a professional services or law firm environment) would be an advantage.
- High proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (traditional and simplified Chinese); fluency in Mandarin is definitely an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage the daily administrative needs of a busy legal practice.
- Ability to work well both individually and in a team setting with strong communication skills and a high level of commercial awareness.
