About The Role
As an
Assistant Technical Manager, you will be responsible for operations, maintenance and troubleshooting of all hotel equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Be responsible for operations, maintenance and troubleshooting of all Hotel equipment and facilities, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire safety and minor building works
- Perform the Maintenance Work Order
- Conduct regular testings, inspections and troubleshootings of Hotel electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure the operation are in accordance with acceptable engineering standards to achieve optimum operating efficiency
- Conduct inspections on all operating equipment and machineries; and report any abnormalities
- Closely monitor the performance of all service maintenance contractors
- Distribute repair work orders to appropriate technicians/contractors
- Follow-up and check reasons of outstanding repair work orders
- Consolidate suggestions for the improvement of the system
About You
- Diploma / Certificate in Building Services Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in repairing and maintenance of Hotel equipment and facilities; preferably minimum of 2 years as a Maintenance Supervisor
- Holder of Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker A
- Experience in the Hotel Industry would be an advantage
- Knowledge in Hotel equipment and facilities preventive maintenance, fire safety & hotel operations
