Our client is a well known company in Hong Kong and they are looking for a IT System Engineer to cope with their business.
Job Responsibilities
· Manage IT infrastructure end-to-end: Oversee infrastructure design, configuration, implementation, operation, and maintenance for IT security and services.
· Troubleshoot and optimize infrastructure: Evaluate business outcomes and investigate/resolve issues related to network infrastructure, servers/hardware, operating systems, and overall service performance.
· Design and maintain disaster recovery & backups: Implement disaster recovery plans, backup procedures, and information security/control structures to protect critical systems and data.
· Streamline data management and system upgrades: Understand the current data management environment and propose system upgrade/optimization solutions for improved efficiency and reliability.
· Govern security and provide IT support: Support ISO 27001 policy/procedure establishment for Infrastructure & Operations, deliver helpdesk support and user training, and coordinate with external vendors/contractors for infrastructure products and services.
Requirements
· Higher Diploma or above in a computer-related discipline.
· Minimum 3 years+ of experience in IT infrastructure planning, implementation, and operations.
· Core infrastructure and networking skills: Practical experience with WAN/LAN, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, SAN/NAS storage, and TCP/IP.
· Experience with Windows Server / Linux, virtualization technologies (VMware), databases, and cloud platforms.
· Good communication in both English and Chinese.
