Decent benefits, but pay could be better
Pros: The health benefits are actually pretty decent, especially for a health tech startup. I also appreciate the remote from Southeast Asia work arrangement, which is a big plus for WFH setup. They do offer some good medical coverage for employees.
Cons: Compensation for Product Manager roles isn't super competitive compared to other tech companies. It's tough when annual raises are minimal, even when the company grows. Don't expect huge salary jumps here.
Advice to Management: Look into making compensation more competitive for key roles. It's tough to retain talent when salaries aren't matching market rates, especially in the health tech space.

Leadership can be a mixed bag here
Pros: My immediate team is great, super collaborative. As a Product Manager for a health tech platform, I get to work on interesting problems in digital health. The remote work flexibility is a big plus, especially living in Jakarta.
Cons: Senior leadership's vision often shifts without clear communication. This makes it tough to plan long-term product roadmaps effectively. There's not enough transparency from the top, which impacts morale for people in product roles.
Advice to Management: Work on improving transparency and consistency in strategic decisions. Better support for middle management would really help empower teams.

Leadership has some good points, but needs work
Pros: Some of the direct managers, especially for tech roles, are really supportive. They help you grow as a Software Engineer and are decent mentors. It's cool being in the healthtech industry, tackling interesting problems.
Cons: Upper management decisions sometimes feel disconnected. There's not always clear communication from the top, which makes planning tough. It can be frustrating trying to understand the overall product strategy.
Advice to Management: Work on improving transparent communication from senior leadership, especially for remote employees. Give teams a clearer picture of the product roadmap and how individual contributions fit in.
