Pros: I liked the hybrid work setup; it gives some freedom to manage your day. As a Software Engineer, you get to work on pretty interesting problems for the digital lending platform. There's a lot of opportunity to learn new tech, which is a big plus for career growth in a startup.
Cons: The biggest issue is definitely the work-life balance. Expect long hours, often 50-60 hours a week, and sometimes more during big launches. There's a constant pressure to meet tight deadlines, which makes it hard to switch off. It feels like the expectations are pretty high without always accounting for personal time.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage the workload and set more realistic project timelines. It'd help a lot with burnout. Encourage employees to actually take their time off.
