Decent Flexibility, but On-Call Can Be Tough
Pros: You do get some WFH days, which is a real plus. For a hospitality tech startup, having a hybrid model is pretty solid. It helps break up the week and avoids constant commuting.
Cons: As a Guest Relations Specialist, you're often on call, which really impacts personal time. It's tough to fully disconnect in the short-term rental industry. Last-minute guest issues can mess up plans quickly.
Advice to Management: Try to implement clearer boundaries and better rotation for on-call duties. Support true disconnection from work, especially for roles like Guest Relations, to prevent burnout. Consider more structured quiet hours.

Decent for a startup, but benefits need work
Pros: As an Operations Coordinator in the Jakarta office, the base salary was actually pretty decent for a startup in the hospitality tech industry. They do pay on time, which is good. You won't struggle with late payments here.
Cons: The benefits package isn't great, though. We only had basic health coverage, no dental or vision. Raises are super slow, and there's no clear path for salary progression for entry-level roles. It's tough to plan long-term.
Advice to Management: Management should seriously review the compensation structure and benefits package. Offering more comprehensive health insurance and a clearer path for salary increases, especially for key operational roles, would really help with employee retention in this competitive market. We need more than just a decent base pay.
