Culture is tough but there are good people
Pros: I've met some really solid co-workers here. The team for Guest Relations Officers is pretty tight-knit. You get to interact with a lot of different people in the hospitality industry, which is nice.
Cons: The company culture here is really rigid. As a Guest Relations Officer, there's not much room for creative problem-solving; it's mostly about following procedures for onsite work. Management doesn't always listen to feedback from the Jakarta office.
Advice to Management: It would be great to encourage more innovation and empower employees. Try listening more to frontline staff in the hospitality industry and modernize some internal processes for better retail management.
