Okay balance, depends on your team and projects
Pros: The hybrid work model helps a lot. I get to work from home a couple days, which saves commute time. For digital marketing tasks, it's pretty flexible if you manage your time well.
Cons: Some projects in the media industry have super tight deadlines. You can end up working late a lot trying to hit client goals. It's definitely not a consistent 40-hour week.
Advice to Management: Try to set more realistic project timelines. Also, maybe recognize when people are consistently working overtime.

Decent Flexibility, But Depends on Your Team
Pros: It's nice that they offer some hybrid work options for certain roles. As an Account Manager, I could sometimes work from home a couple days a week if client meetings weren't scheduled for the Jakarta office. That little bit of work flexibility was a lifesaver.
Cons: The WFH policy isn't really consistent across all departments; some teams can't do it at all. If your direct manager isn't on board, forget about it. It makes planning tough, and it's frustrating for those of us in client services who often have long hours.
Advice to Management: Try to make the hybrid and WFH policies clearer and more consistent for everyone. It would really help with morale and work-life balance for all the employees.

Leadership Could Be More Hands-On
Pros: As a Junior Software Engineer, I've learned a lot about digital media solutions here. My immediate team is super collaborative and helpful. The hybrid work setup is pretty decent for us.
Cons: Leadership sometimes feels really detached from daily insurtech projects. It's hard to get clear decisions or feedback from the top. Communication can be a real struggle, especially for us in the Jakarta office.
Advice to Management: Try to be more present and provide clearer direction to the teams. Improve top-down communication regarding project goals and priorities for all technical roles.

Pay's okay, but benefits need a boost
Pros: The base pay for a Marketing Specialist isn't bad, it's pretty standard for digital marketing roles in the Jakarta market. There's a yearly bonus, which is nice when you get it. Plus, the basic health insurance package is there, so that's a positive.
Cons: Raises are super slow, like, really slow. The medical benefits could definitely be more robust; it's just the basics. For a mid-sized corporate in the media solutions space, I expected a bit more in terms of overall compensation and perks. It's tough to feel truly valued.
Advice to Management: Management really needs to re-evaluate the compensation structure and benefits, especially for roles like ours in the digital marketing department. A more competitive pay scale and better health coverage would go a long way in attracting and retaining talent here in the Jakarta office.
