Pros: The company does try to offer some flexibility, which is nice. We have a hybrid work model, so two days WFH helps a lot with commuting in Jakarta. For a tech startup, the team is pretty understanding if you need to step away for a bit.
Cons: That said, sometimes the workload for digital solutions projects can just pile up. It's not uncommon to work late, especially when hitting deadlines. There's not always a clear boundary between work and personal time, particularly for engineering roles.
Advice to Management: Management should really try to protect employees' personal time more. Set clearer expectations on project timelines so we don't always feel rushed. Maybe look into staffing up more for key engineering roles when growth picks up.
