Hybrid Work is Okay, Needs More True Flexibility
Adactive Asia has a decent hybrid work setup for tech roles, but I wish there was more genuine flexibility built into the day-to-day operations. It's okay, not amazing.
The hybrid work model is a solid perk for us in the digital signage industry. As a Software Engineer, I could usually work remotely a couple of days a week, which helped with my commute to the Singapore office.
True work flexibility beyond the set hybrid schedule wasn't always there. It felt tough to get approvals for ad-hoc WFH days, especially when projects got really busy.
Management should really look into offering more dynamic work flexibility options. Trusting employees to manage their time and location for specific tasks would make a big difference.
