Pros: The hybrid work model is a solid perk for us in the digital signage industry. As a Software Engineer, I could usually work remotely a couple of days a week, which helped with my commute to the Singapore office.
Cons: True work flexibility beyond the set hybrid schedule wasn't always there. It felt tough to get approvals for ad-hoc WFH days, especially when projects got really busy.
Advice to Management: Management should really look into offering more dynamic work flexibility options. Trusting employees to manage their time and location for specific tasks would make a big difference.
