Pros: You do get decent accommodation and food provided when you're working at the remote mining sites in Kalimantan, Indonesia. That helps a lot as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic since housing isn't cheap out there. The health insurance is also pretty solid.
Cons: The base salary for heavy equipment roles isn't super competitive for this industry. It feels like they could offer more, especially considering the tough onsite work environment. Performance bonuses aren't always clear or generous either.
