Work-life balance is tough, but it's logistics
Pros: The team I worked with was really solid; everyone pitched in during busy periods. Pay and benefits are pretty decent for maritime logistics roles in Jakarta. It's a stable job, so there's good job security within this large shipping company.
Cons: Work-life balance for a Logistics Coordinator here is often tough. Expect long hours, especially when handling urgent cargo operations or vessel delays. It's an onsite role, so there isn't much work flexibility or WFH options to help balance things out.
Advice to Management: Try to implement better staffing models or shift rotations to help Logistics Coordinators manage the workload. More focus on employee well-being could really improve morale.
