Pros: My direct manager was super supportive, which was awesome for my Project Coordinator role. They really helped me learn the ropes in this mid-sized corporate environment. There's good mentorship if you find the right people.
Cons: Upper leadership, though? Not very visible in the Chicago office. It feels like decision-making is slow and communication about company direction is pretty lacking. For a global consulting firm, I'd expect more clarity from the top.
Advice to Management: Focus on improving communication from senior leaders. More town halls or regular updates would really help people feel connected and understand where the company is headed. Empowering middle managers more could also make a big difference.
