Pros: Some senior managers are really supportive, especially when you're tackling complex tech projects. They back their engineering teams. I've seen decent mentorship opportunities for junior developers.
Cons: Upper management communication can be pretty bad. Decisions often feel out of the blue, making the hybrid work model confusing sometimes. There's not enough transparency for a mid-sized tech company.
Advice to Management: Work on clear, consistent communication from the top down. It's tough for employees in the San Francisco office and remote staff when policies change suddenly. More transparency would help everyone.
