Solid culture, but work can get intense
Pros: The team spirit is really strong here, everyone helps each other out. It truly feels like a family in the Jakarta office. We get to work on cool digital transformation projects, which is great for learning new tech as an IT Consultant.
Cons: Work-life balance can be tough, especially during project deadlines. Sometimes you're expected to put in long hours, which isn't always sustainable. Communication from upper management could be better too.
Advice to Management: Try to enforce a better work-life balance for project teams. Clearer communication about company direction and project scope would also help improve morale and reduce stress.

Work-life balance is decent, but project-dependent
Pros: You do get some decent flexibility, especially with the hybrid model. For software development roles, there's often WFH options a few days a week, which really helps cut down on the commute in the Jakarta office.
Cons: Project deadlines can be super intense for IT consulting. Sometimes you're just stuck working longer hours to hit them. It's not always easy to log off on time.
Advice to Management: Try to manage project scope better so engineering teams aren't always scrambling. Support WFH policies more consistently across all departments.

Decent Job Security for Tech Industry Roles
Pros: As a Software Engineer in the Jakarta office, I found the job security to be pretty decent. They usually have a steady stream of projects for IT consulting. It helps that PHINCON has long-term clients, which keeps things stable for employees.
Cons: Sometimes projects end, and there's a brief worry about bench time. While you usually get reassigned, it can feel a bit uncertain for a few weeks. The mid-sized company can't always guarantee instant new projects, which is normal for the industry.
Advice to Management: Try to communicate future project pipelines more clearly. It would help ease employee concerns during transitions between projects for the technical roles.
